A no-cook, customizable charcuterie board designed for game day hosting. It features a variety of meats, cheeses, crackers, fruits, and veggies arranged for visual impact and flavor balance.

Ingredients

  • Prosciutto or Ham (folded or rolled)
  • Salami or Pepperoni (thinly sliced)
  • Beef Jerky or Stick Style Salami
  • Brie or Camembert (whole or wedges)
  • Sharp Cheddar Cubes
  • Goat Cheese Logs
  • Mixed Crackers (water crackers, seeded crackers)
  • Pretzel Crisps or Sticks
  • Baguette Slices (toasted)
  • Grapes (Red and Green, on the vine)
  • Apple Slices (Honeycrisp or Gala)
  • Carrot Sticks or Celery
  • Mustard (Whole grain or Dijon)
  • Jam or Jelly (Fig or Grape)
  • Nuts (Almonds or Walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Clean and dry your serving board or platter.
  2. Place small bowls for dips, nuts, and olives on the board in a triangle or scattered pattern to create anchor points.
  3. Cut hard cheeses into cubes and semi-hard cheeses into slices; leave soft cheeses whole or in wedges. Place them around the bowls.
  4. Fold or roll deli meats and place them in the spaces between cheeses, draping them over edges for a cascading effect.
  5. Tuck crackers, bread, and pretzels into empty spaces, stacking them vertically or laying them flat to fill gaps.
  6. Distribute grapes, apple slices, and other fresh items evenly around the board for color and freshness.
  7. Add nuts, olives, and other small items into remaining gaps. Step back to assess balance and adjust as needed.

Notes

[‘Take cheeses out of the fridge at least an hour before serving to bring to room temperature for better flavor.’, ‘Add fresh fruits and veggies right before serving to prevent browning.’, ‘Aim for 2-3 ounces of meat and cheese per person.’, ‘Leave negative space on the board for an elegant look.’, ‘If serving outdoors, place ice packs under the board to keep meats and cheeses cool.’]
