A visually stunning, non-alcoholic Halloween punch featuring a tart green apple and lime base, enhanced with lemon-lime soda and a dramatic dry ice fog effect for a spooky party centerpiece.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 gallon (4 liters) Green Apple Juice
  • 2 liters (about 8.5 cups) Lemon-Lime Soda (chilled)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1–2 drops Green Food Coloring (gel preferred)
  • 2–3 pounds Dry Ice
  • Several large bowls of Ice Cubes
  • 1 bag Gummy Worms

Instructions

  1. Pour the green apple juice into a large punch bowl. If using concentrate, dilute with cold water according to package directions.
  2. Add 1-2 drops of green food coloring to the juice and stir until the color is uniform and eerie green.
  3. Juice fresh limes to obtain 1 cup of juice. Strain out seeds and pulp.
  4. Pour the fresh lime juice into the apple juice mixture and stir gently. Taste to ensure it is tart.
  5. Place a smaller, heat-safe bowl or container inside the main punch bowl to hold the dry ice separately.
  6. Using tongs or heavy-duty gloves, place the dry ice pieces into the inner container.
  7. Just before serving, slowly pour the chilled lemon-lime soda into the punch bowl to preserve carbonation. Stir gently.
  8. Add ice cubes to the main bowl around the inner dry ice container to keep the punch cold.
  9. Toss gummy worms into the punch for garnish.
  10. Serve immediately while the dry ice creates a fog effect.

Notes

Never put dry ice directly into the punch liquid you serve; always use a separate container to prevent frostbite and ensure safety. Add soda only just before serving to maintain fizz. The dry ice will sublimate within 1-2 hours. For a low-sugar option, swap soda for sparkling water and add sugar-free syrup.
