Halloween Charcuterie Board with Candy Corn - featured image

A festive, no-cook Halloween snack board featuring candy corn as the anchor, paired with sharp cheddar, brie, olives, grapes, and pretzels for a visually striking and delicious sweet-and-savory treat.

Ingredients

  • Candy Corn (classic tri-color)
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese (cut into cubes or sticks)
  • Brie or Camembert Cheese (cut into wedges)
  • Black Olives (sliced or whole kalamata)
  • Green Grapes (washed and dried)
  • Pretzel Sticks or Twists
  • Crackers (water crackers or sesame seed)
  • Apple Slices (Honeycrisp or Fuji, tossed with lemon juice)
  • Popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
  • Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels (optional)
  • Lemon (for apple slices)

Instructions

  1. Prep the cheese: Cut cheddar into cubes or sticks and brie into wedges. Place in small bowls or directly on the board, starting with the largest items.
  2. Arrange the crackers and pretzels: Fan out crackers along the edge of the board and place pretzel sticks in small clusters to create structure.
  3. Add the fruit: Slice apples and toss with lemon juice. Arrange grapes in clusters and scatter apple slices around the cheese.
  4. Place the candy corn: Pour candy corn into small bowls or create piles on the board to create height variation and visual impact.
  5. Fill in the gaps: Use black olives and popcorn to fill empty spaces, adding spooky black elements and volume.
  6. Final touches: Step back to check balance and color distribution. Add more items if needed and ensure there are enough utensils or toothpicks for guests.

Notes

Ensure all fruit is completely dry before placing on the board to prevent soggy crackers. Serve cheese at room temperature for best flavor. For a gluten-free option, swap pretzels and crackers for gluten-free alternatives. If candy corn is unavailable, orange M&Ms can be used.
