A quick and easy 15-minute candy corn bark that combines salty pretzels, creamy white chocolate, and chewy candy corn for a festive Halloween treat that looks like you spent an hour on it.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces (about 2 cups) white chocolate chips (Ghirardelli or Guittard recommended)
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists, roughly crushed
  • Β½ cup mini pretzel twists, whole (for topping)
  • 1 cup candy corn (classic or autumn mix)
  • Optional: Pinch of flaky sea salt (e.g., Maldon)

Instructions

  1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, extending slightly over edges for easy removal.
  2. Place 1 cup of mini pretzel twists in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin into a mix of fine crumbs and pea-sized chunks.
  3. Melt 12 ounces of white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring after each, until smooth (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Stir the crushed pretzels into the melted white chocolate until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even ΒΌ-inch thick layer using an offset spatula or spoon.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, scatter the remaining Β½ cup whole mini pretzel twists and 1 cup candy corn over the top. Gently press toppings into the chocolate with fingers or spoon. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if using.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until completely firm and matte.
  8. Remove from fridge, let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes, then break into irregular pieces with hands or cut into squares with a knife.

Notes

Work quickly once white chocolate is melted as it sets fast. Use good-quality white chocolate to avoid waxy texture. For crunchier pretzels, store in an airtight container with a piece of bread. Can be made up to 3 days ahead.
