A quick, no-bake Halloween dessert featuring layers of tangy cream cheese filling and crunchy chocolate cookie crumbs, topped with mini chocolate chips to resemble dirt and rocks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (or granulated sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 20–25 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Separate Oreo filling if desired, then crush cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or zip-top bag. Reserve 1 cup for layering.
  2. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until pale and fluffy.
  3. In a separate cold bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold one-third of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture to lighten it, then fold in the remaining cream until just combined.
  5. Assemble cups by layering cream mixture and cookie crumbs, repeating until cups are full.
  6. Top with remaining cookie crumbs and mini chocolate chips. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Chill the mixing bowl and beaters before whipping cream for better volume. For a vegan version, use dairy-free cream cheese and coconut cream. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
