These dense, chewy, and gooey blondies combine white chocolate chips and candy corn for a nostalgic, sweet treat that is easy to make and perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 Β½ cups light brown sugar, packed
  • Β½ cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Β½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Β½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 Β½ cups candy corn

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed or stirring gently until flour streaks disappear. Do not overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and candy corn.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until edges are golden brown and the center looks set but slightly soft. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
  9. Let blondies cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before lifting them out and cutting into squares.

Notes

Ensure eggs are at room temperature to prevent the batter from curdling. Do not overmix the flour to avoid tough blondies. For best texture, let them cool completely before cutting. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
