Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board with Fig & Brie - featured image

A simple, elegant, and crowd-pleasing charcuterie board featuring creamy Brie, sweet dried figs, crunchy walnuts, and drizzled honey. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any gathering, this recipe comes together in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel Brie cheese (8–12 oz)
  • 4 oz hard cheese (optional, such as sharp cheddar or aged gouda)
  • 1 cup dried figs
  • 1 cup fresh berries (such as red seedless grapes or strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (toasted)
  • 1 box crackers or crispbread
  • 4 oz cured meats (optional, such as prosciutto or salami)
  • 1 bunch fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Remove Brie from the fridge 20-30 minutes before serving to bring to room temperature. Slice in half if large, or leave whole, and place in the center of the board.
  2. Arrange crackers on the board in neat piles or fanned out, leaving negative space for other items.
  3. Scatter toasted walnuts or pecans around the board. Add dried figs, leaving them whole or cutting them in half, tucking them between crackers and cheese.
  4. Place fresh berries (grapes or strawberries) in small clusters to fill gaps.
  5. If using cured meats, fold slices loosely and place on the board. Alternatively, add olives or pickles for a salty element.
  6. Drizzle honey over the Brie and surrounding figs. Place small bowls of fig jam on the board to prevent sogginess.
  7. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs in empty spaces. Adjust items for an elegant presentation.

Notes

Let cheese come to room temperature for best flavor. Do not leave the board out for more than two hours for food safety. If making ahead, assemble components up to 4 hours in advance and assemble the board 30 minutes before serving. Add honey and jam just before serving to keep crackers crisp.
