A quick and easy romantic charcuterie board for two, perfect for spontaneous date nights or last-minute snacks, combining creamy cheese, salty meats, crunchy crackers, and fresh fruit with a touch of honey and balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz (113 g) Brie or Camembert, soft and creamy
  • 2 oz (57 g) Sharp Cheddar, sliced
  • 3 oz (85 g) Prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 2 oz (57 g) Soppressata or spicy salami
  • About 20 water crackers or artisan crackers
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) Roasted Marcona almonds
  • Small bunch seedless grapes or 3-4 fresh figs sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional drizzle)
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) Mixed olives
  • Small jar gherkins or pickled onions
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs for garnish
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the Brie into wedges and the cheddar into thin slices about 1/4 inch thick. If using fresh figs, slice them into halves or quarters. Drain olives and pickles, placing them into small bowls for easy access.
  2. Lay the wedges of Brie and slices of cheddar spaced apart on your board. Fold or loosely roll slices of prosciutto and spicy salami, arranging them artistically between the cheeses.
  3. Fan out crackers around the cheeses and meats, leaving some gaps for grapes and nuts. Scatter the Marcona almonds in small piles for easy grabbing.
  4. Add grapes or figs in clusters, creating bursts of color. Place bowls of olives and pickles on the board, balancing the layout visually.
  5. Drizzle honey over the Brie if desired. Finish with a light drizzle of balsamic glaze if using. Garnish with rosemary or thyme sprigs for aroma and aesthetic.
  6. Let cheese sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving to enhance flavor.

Notes

Let cheese come to room temperature before serving for best flavor. Use small bowls for olives and pickles to prevent soggy crackers. Arrange items with space to avoid overcrowding. Substitute gluten-free crackers or dairy-free cheese as needed.
